Our Kitchen

We're approaching the year mark in our townhome and I cannot believe it! I finally took the time to photograph our kitchen- not sure how it's taken sooo long, but yano. This is my favorite kitchen ever and I don't know how I could ever live anywhere else after being so spoiled by it. The sinks are so deep- which is good considering how little I feel like doing the dishes, and the granite countertops are to die for! The pantry is MASSIVE- we've never had so much pantry storage. I can remember cramming our groceries into one tiny cabinet back in Fresno (wish I would've photographed that apartment even though it was a love-hate relationship). I wish this place could just pop out a third and maybe fourth bedroom and I'd stay here foreverrrr.

The counter space allowed for so many things- our knife block, fruit stand (which is typically cluttered with junk- never any fruit.. HA), and PHOTO FRAMES! I love that I was able to fit frames in our kitchen. It just livens the place up and makes it feel so much cozier. And the WALL SPACE. I diy-ed the photo display on the wall. I bought the open frame from Hobby Lobby and hot glued twine to the back. Super easy and such a statement piece. I love how much character it adds to the space and that we can easily change out photos and momentos. P.S. That little love note I have pictured is from like four years ago.. and it's the only one I've ever gotten.. haha. So I consider it display worthy!

They say kitchens are the heart of the home- well at least I think they do. And after living here I totally agree. We spend so much time in the kitchen now and I love that it's such a welcoming space.
