One Month

I have never been a baby person- or a kid person. With that being said, I've always known it would be different once it was my baby, my kid. And I've never loved someone more. She's the most perfect tiny human, and I can't believe she's mine. I can't remember life before her, and I can't imagine life without her. She's my girl. I've come such a long way over the past month. In the beginning I was terrified of holding her and there were so many technical aspects that I had absolutely no idea about. I didn't even know how to burp a baby. Everything was new and so overwhelming. By no means am I an expert at this point, but I'm no longer terrified to be alone with her. She's been patient with me throughout this first month- and so so sweet. She's taken it easy on me for the most part. Besides her gas related tummy troubles, she is rarely upset. We wake up for diaper changes and feedings throughout the night, but other than that we usually sleep well. I'm excited to watch her grow and develop a little personality over the next few months.

Length- 21.5"
Weight- 11 lbs, 3.5 oz

Her favorites include lights, ceiling fans, cuddles from anyone who offers, and early mornings. She has a healthy appetite- but prefers snacking over larger meals, and has a love/hate relationship with her car seat and tummy time. Dislikes include face kisses from Laney, alone time, and gas bubbles. OH- and the hiccups.
