BUMPDATE: WEEKS 14-20

How far along? 20 weeks. Officially at the halfway point!!

Total weight gain? I estimated 5 pounds on my last update. I OVER ESTIMATED! I've actually only gained 4 pounds (as of my 16 week appointment when we found out gender). Pretty sure this number will be double at my 20 week appointment this Monday. Oops.. To be completely honest, I could care less what the number is. I'm just trying to eat as healthy as possible and exercise a few days per week. Steady weight gain is definitely my goal though.

I've gained 5 pounds since my 16 week appointment- a total of 9 pounds so far. At yesterday's appointment my doctor said I'm right on track which is great news!

Maternity clothes? I can still fit my belly in my pre-pregnancy jeans- barely! I'm officially having to wear shirts that are long enough to cover my completely unzipped jeans and elastic-button-holder-contraption. Luckily my jeans still fit the same in my legs and butt, which means I'm not gaining weight there quite yet. I owe all the credit to squats and lunges!

Stretch marks? Not yet! I've been slathering on lotion every morning in hopes that they won't develop. I can tell my skin is officially stretching because of how itchy it has been the last few days- so fingers crossed I don't get them!

Sleep? Unfortuntely my back has started bothering me. I woke up early Easter Sunday and it was so unbearable. I laid in bed whimpering until it woke Zach up. Once he was awake I sat up and CRIEDDDDDD- it finally stopped hurting and I was able to lay back down. I think it may be time to invest in a body pillow. I'm hoping it will bring much needed relief so I can sleep more comfortably!

Best moment? Finding out that we're having a GIRL!! I was totally convinced she was a boy, so I was shocked.

Miss anything? I can definitely tell a difference in my body when I look at past pictures. Not saying 'I miss being skinny', but I definitely looked so skinny! Andddd my vision is officially blurry in my contacts now. I noticed it at work Friday- my computer screen is SO blurry. Luckily, I can still see fine any other time. I'm wearing glasses to work for now, and I put my contacts in when I get home. I've read that vision changes are completely normal, and I'm hoping it's just temporary. (I literally just bought a year supply of contacts two weeks ago.. My luck!)

Movement? I've consistently felt her move every day since we found out gender (at 16 weeks). I now realize I really did feel her while laying in bed (mentioned in last bumpdate post) and another time while driving- both were near the end of my first trimester. OH- Zach has officially felt her kick!! We were sitting in the couch and he had his hand on my belly. Before I could even ask if he felt it, he looked at me with the most excited expression. Pretty sure he almost cried :)

Food cravings? I'm still loving fruits- and pringles.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope!

Have you started to show yet? I've POPPED!! Totally thought I had a belly before, but it is so noticeable now. I could feel my belly stretching Thursday through Saturday- especially Friday night while I tossed and turned- and I expected it to be noticeably bigger when I woke up Saturday morning. Nope- nothing. I got in the shower late Saturday afternoon and BAM! I looked down and there was this MASSIVE BELLY in the shower with me. I'm looking forward to seeing the difference between next week's progression picture
(week 21) and the previous picture (week 19).

Gender? GIRL!

Happy or moody most of the time? I like to think my mood swings are more under control now. I have had several emotional breakdowns though. I cry over everything these days..

Looking forward to? Our next appointment- so excited to see her again!

^^LOVE that sweet profile! Her nose looks more like mine now too. Before I thought she had Zach's nose. ^^

 ^^Clearly a girl!! :)^^

^^She literally had her legs straight up- and the top of her feet touching her forehead!^^
